ZEEZ HF Music artiste

Kingsley Elikpo (popularly known as ‘ZEEZ’) was formerly known as DJ ZEEZ until recently when hesigned to HF Music and dropped the ‘DJ’ in his stage name. He is a foremost Nigerian singer, song-writer, music producer, actor and former Disc Jockey. The name ‘ZEEZ’, according to the Urban Dictionary, means ‘Fly’, ‘Cool’ or ‘In style’.

Born on the 10th of January to Nigerian parents (father from Imo State and mother from Ogun State), Zeez has lived most of his life in Lagos. His early education was at Prime-Rose Nursery/Primary School in Gbagada & Engreg Memorial Nursery and Primary School, Apata, after which he attended Logos International Secondary School in Orlu-Owerri and Government College Ikorodu in Lagos. He went on to study computer science at the University of Abuja and Digital Film Animation at the Nigerian Institute of Information Technology.

Zeez is best known for his massive hits “4Kasibe” and “Bobbee FC”, two up-tempo dance fusions of Afrobeat and Dancehall music that were top 10 hits on the Nigerian chart in 2009. “4kasibe” won ‘Best Street Hop’ award at the Hip-Hop World Awards now known as Headies. Zeez sings in English, Yoruba, Igbo & Pidgin.
